Recognition of Teaching, Scholarship, and Service

Throughout my career, I have been honored for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and professional service. These recognitions include the Center for World Languages and Cultures Inclusive Excellence in Teaching Award and the University of Denver Office of Teaching and Learning Teaching Award, both of which recognize my commitment to inclusive, innovative, and student-centered teaching. My dissertation research was supported by the Dean’s Grant for Student Research and Diversity, while the Graduate Education Doctoral Fellowship recognized my academic achievement, research accomplishments, and scholarly promise.

I also received a full scholarship from the American Association for Teaching and Curriculum to present at its annual conference and was honored with the Sturm College of Law Faculty Support Specialist Award for my contributions to the law school community. Together, these awards and grants reflect the interconnected commitments that guide my work: humanizing education, advancing meaningful scholarship, and supporting the learning and professional growth of others.
